Visit www.hostgator.com

Other Replys:It really depends on what you want exactly for your site.

I use successteamwebsitebuilder.com for one of my sites and in the past I have also used godaddy.com. I would definately not use yahoo though.

Other Replys:To get your website published on the net, the big steps are:

1. Create the website which consists of web pages.

2. Test the website you have designed without connected to the Internet (offline test).

3. Find an appropriate web host, where you can upload your files to be then accessible using web browser on the Internet.

Let%26#039;us talk from point 1:

To create a website, you can choose 2 options;

1. Create it using WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor

2. Create it using your own coding skill, like using HTML, PHP, ASP, VBScript, etc on certain script editor. You can even develop it using Notepad, simplest text editor on Windows OS.

For getting the tools, you can google it. Lots of download links are available on the net. Go and find them, choose one that is best for you !

Then create your web pages using those tools. Many tutorials for creating website from the scratch are also so many available on the internet. You can rely on Google for that purpose.

Let us talk about point 2:

After you have created all the required web pages, try test it first without being connected to the internet. If all the links work well, you can be proud of it. Test all segments of your website. Also try it using several top web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc. If your website works well on all of the browsers, you can try to go to the next step...

Point 3:

Choose web host that suits your need. If it is for business purpose, I think you should use a paid web host. You can try www.hostedhere.com. Many other websites also provide this kins of service. You can find them, read what they can give, and choose it by your own. For small scale business, they usually provide a cheaper space for putting your files on their web server.

When you decide, you are ready to contact them, ask about security features they provide for keeping your website secure, and how to pay for the service.

After you%26#039;ve got all the informations, you%26#039;re ready to publish the website to the world. Upload the files using FTP softwares. They usually provide this. You can even use your own FTP (File Transfer Protocol) tool, but it%26#039;s recommended to use the one they gave.

After upload process, try view the website on your web browser.

Got it right??

Yes?? You can be proud of it. tell the world about your new website. You can use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools to make your website can be found using search engine, like Yahoo! or Google. Tell friends and colleagues about your new website.

No??? You can try to find the problem. You can try HTML Validator, even in the beginning of design process to make sure all the syntaxes on your website are correct. Repair it. You can try publish it again later.

Hope that helps !!

Other Replys:Hi there. I keep getting violation notices from Yahoo for posting links to sites here. Just reply with the title WEB HOST and I%26#039;ll send you some information.

Other Replys:If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months%26#039; time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

Domains

Following site is quite good to register domains as price is reasonable with free privacy. Some charge about $5/ year just for free privacy.

IPOWER http://www.anurl.com/?TXIBE

Other Replys:You need two things to get your website online: domain name, and hosting. The domain name is what people will type into the address bar to get to your site. The hosting is what stores your files and sends the information to people whenever they visit your site.

Having said that the best way to get started with the least effort and money is to use an online site builder to design your site. This way you don%26#039;t have to hire someone, and you don%26#039;t have to learn html.

You can get a domain and the website tonight package(online sitebuilder) at http://www.doggydomains.com The site builder starts at $5.99 a month and the domain is $1.99 is you get the builder. Also the builder comes with hosting.

Other Replys:If you are currently a paid Internet subscriber, you are entitled to a %26quot;homepage%26quot; which often contains simple navigation and editing tools. And if you use the Netscape browser, the built-in Composer feature is a superior HTML authoring tool. You can easily generate a full-blown website as a Homepage. Nevertheless, the %26quot;homepage%26quot; URL is likely to be %26quot;http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscribe... name%26quot; and that URL can easily be overwritten via a redirection service, i.e., %26quot;mydomain.com%26quot; which allows you to link any registered domain name to %26quot;mask%26quot; another website. For example, should you type in %26quot;domainname.com%26quot;, you will be immediately transported to the homepage and the hompage URL of http://homepage.earthlink.com/subscriber... name will be masked by the domainname.com. And the charge for the redirection service [even at godaddy.com] is normally FREE. Here%26#039;s a demonstration: Type in the URL window: %26quot;www.pizzanextdoor.com%26quot; which will bring up their pizza website. Take note of the domain name. Then type in the URL window: %26quot;http://home.pacbell.net/vten/1a/pizzame... and you will see that this is the original homepage which is unmasked without the domain name!

Good luck!
