Clarification on web ad rates?

Hello,

I would like some clarification on web ad rates.

For example: A middle page ad: 25,000 impressions @ $30CPM

Does that mean that when there is 25,000 views that the advertiser owes the web site hosting the ad $750?

$30 CPM means that you pay $30 for every 1,000 pageviews of the ad

So if you have 25,000 impressions, you divide that with 1000 so you get

25,000 / 1,000 = 25

and then you multiply 25 with the CPM amount of $30 so you get $750

The $750 is what you will pay the web owner (not the web host) when advertising on that site. That%26#039;s expensive - this must be a top tier site
