Clarification on web ad rates?

Hello,

I would like some clarification on web ad rates.

For example: A middle page ad: 25,000 impressions @ $30CPM

Does that mean that when there is 25,000 views that the advertiser owes the web site hosting the ad $750?

Yes -- 25,000 impressions at $30 CPM means

25,000 / 1,000 = 25 x $30 = $750

If this is the deal, the advertiser will pay the web publisher or those who own the site (not necessarily the web host) $750 for that 25,000 impression. It%26#039;s quite an expensive rate.

Yes - CPM means Cost Per Thousand - so it would cost $30 x 25M = $750.
