if you mean the geographical location of the web host, try this:

http://www.ip2geo.net/ip2location/lookup...

You will require the IP of the web host.

(p/s: A simple ping of the URL of the web host from the command prompt should provide you with the information.)

Note: It would give you a rough idea or approximate location only

Other Replys:If you are looking for who controls the domain name for the web site you are interesting in researching, that is best found by using the Whois tool at Network Solutions. Enter the domain name of the site and you will see the administrative and technical contacts for that domain.

If you are looking for the geographical location of the server for a web site, I would be careful to take the results of geo-IP searches with a grain of salt as they are often times only as accurate as the general region of a country.

Other Replys:You can try http://www.dreamhost.com hosting solution (if you%26#039;re also looking hosting with a free domain in the packages) , a respectable company and has a good support, uptime with over 700 servers. They give you 20GB Space and 1 Terrabyte of Bandwidth, and a free domain for a good price ($119/year), and with the promo code HOT75 you get $75 off to any yearly and monthly plans you purchase. They have everything you need.

Which means, with that promo code, you get $119 - $75 = $44/year

and $44 / 12 months is only $3.67 a month for that great deal!

I%26#039;ve been with them for 5 months, and everything works smoothly with no problems at all. Trully reliable.
